Reflections on the Show: Humor and Spirituality Combined

Q: How was your experience on the show? What do you think about the idea of combining humor and spirituality?

It was a wonderful experience. I was very happy to be there. The show is excellent and connects people from across India. Nowadays, families are becoming fragmented, and this show helps bring them together. Laughing and making others laugh is a very virtuous act.

Just as a mother gives her child medicine with kind words, if we teach religion and spirituality while laughing, the child will understand it more easily. Teaching religion and spirituality through laughter is a very beautiful art.

Q: Have any contestants sought spiritual advice from you?

Q: Have any contestants sought spiritual advice from you?

Yes, during the shoot, some people asked me about the meaning of ‘prasad’. I explained that ‘prasad’ means ‘direct vision of the Lord’. Everyone was pleased to hear this, as many people receive prasad but might not have understood its true meaning before. It was gratifying to see that we could explain spiritual concepts while laughing.

Q: What are your thoughts on social media? Sometimes people praise you, and other times they troll you.

I will say the same thing I mentioned earlier about the biscuit. In Maharashtra, some children fell ill after eating biscuits. I said that it only contained flour, sugar, and palm oil. Some people mocked and trolled me about this. However, sooner or later, they realized that what I said was true.
