Is BhaiJaan Linked to Gangster Dawood? Accused Claim Dawood Gang Wants Them Dead

There is a fear of the murder of Viki Gupta and Sagar Pal, who are in jail for firing at Salman Khan’s house. The families of both accused have requested security from the Maharashtra and Bihar governments, claiming that a plot to murder Viki and Sagar is being orchestrated by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s henchmen. On April 14 this year, there was gunfire at Salman Khan’s house in Bandra, Mumbai.

Brothers of the Shooters Wrote Letters

Now, the brothers of shooter Viki Gupta and shooter Sagar Pal have written to the government. Both are residents of Majriya in West Champaran, Bihar. The accused are currently imprisoned in Mumbai’s Taloja Central Jail. It is reported that before writing the letters, the brothers met the accused in jail. During this meeting, the accused told them that Dawood Ibrahim’s henchmen are plotting their murder.

They Might Face the Same Fate as Co-Accused Anuj Thapan

The letter alleges that both accused might face a fate similar to their co-accused Anuj Thapan. Anuj died in police custody in May. According to media reports, he had committed suicide by hanging himself in jail.

Threats from D Company to the Accused

The lawyer of jailed accused Viki Gupta also spoke to ANI about the case. He said, “Viki Gupta and Sagar Pal have requested the authorities for their life protection. They claim that they are being threatened by D Company. The accused have informed their families about this.”

Accusations Against Salman Khan

The lawyer further stated, “The accused (Viki Gupta and Sagar Pal) allege that Salman Khan has connections with certain gangsters and might want to have them killed. We have written to the central government, Maharashtra, and Bihar governments for their protection.”

Arrest of the Accused from Gujarat

On April 14, two individuals on a motorcycle fired shots outside Salman Khan’s house. Following this incident, Mumbai police arrested shooters Viki Gupta and Sagar Pal from Gujarat. In this case, Anuj Thapan (32) was arrested along with another person from Punjab on April 26.

Gangster Anmol Claimed Responsibility for the Attack

Mumbai Crime Branch officials stated that gangster Lawrence and his brother Anmol have been declared wanted in this case. After the attack, Anmol claimed responsibility for the shooting outside Salman’s house through a Facebook post.

Previous Threats to Salman Khan

In June 2022, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan, who had gone out for a morning walk, received an anonymous letter threatening to kill him and Salman. The letter read, “Salman Khan will end up like Moosewala.” Following this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel, and a case was registered at Bandra police station. Last year, Mumbai police arrested a person who had threatened Salman over the phone. The person, a 16-year-old minor, identified himself as Rokhibhai and claimed he was from Jodhpur, threatening to kill Salman on April 30. Last year, a resident of Jodhpur also sent 3 emails to Salman’s official mail, stating that Salman Khan would be the next target and would be killed like Sidhu Moosewala upon arriving in Jodhpur. In January 2024, two unknown individuals attempted to enter Salman Khan’s farmhouse by cutting the fencing wire. When caught by the police, they claimed to be Salman’s fans. Fake Aadhar cards were found with them, and an FIR was also registered against them. Salman Khan is on the hit list of Lawrence Gang.
