After the blockbuster hit ‘Pathaan,’ Salman Khan will soon be seen in a cameo role alongside Shah Rukh Khan in an upcoming series. Reports suggest that Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, has cast Salman Khan in his directorial debut series.
According to a recent report by News 18, Salman Khan will appear in an episode of the series directed by Aryan Khan. Salman Khan has already completed shooting for the episode following his casting. Shah Rukh Khan is also expected to appear in the series. However, it is still unclear whether Shah Rukh and Salman will share screen time together.
The report cites a source stating that Salman Khan accepted the offer for the series without delay. Salman Khan is very close to Shah Rukh and his family. He is thrilled to support Aryan Khan’s directorial debut.
It is noteworthy that Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood soon. The 26-year-old Aryan is creating a starry backdrop in Hindi cinema with this series. Shah Rukh Khan is also set to make a cameo in the series. However, a few days ago, a report published in Koimoi claimed that Aryan Khan wanted to remove his father’s cameo from the film. Aryan does not want anyone to say that he received advantages due to being a star kid.
120 Crore Offer Rejected Before the Series’ Release
A few months ago, Aryan Khan was offered ₹120 crore from an OTT platform for the streaming rights of the series. Although the OTT platform wanted to purchase the streaming rights, Aryan Khan declined the offer. Aryan states that he will not sell the series until he sees the final output.
