The second season began broadcasting on August 17, 2008, and was hosted by Shilpa Shetty, who was also a winner of Big Brother.
The third season was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan; however, these three seasons did not achieve significant popularity. Salman Khan entered as the host in the fourth season, and audiences appreciated his style immensely, leading to increased TRP ratings for the show. To date, a total of 17 seasons have been telecast, and the 18th season is currently on air.
