Pankaj Tripathi’s Tragic Loss: Brother In Law Died In Fatal Accident and Sister Is In Critical Condition

Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother in law, Rajesh Tiwari, has passed away in a road accident. Pankaj’s sister, Savita Tiwari, also sustained serious injuries in the same accident that occurred on NH2 near Nirsa Chowk in Dhanbad district, around 4 o’clock on Saturday evening. She is currently receiving treatment at SNMMC Hospital in Dhanbad. While Pankaj’s condition is stable, his family members are still at risk.

Tripathi Rushes to Dhanbad Upon Hearing the News

Upon receiving news of the incident, Pankaj Tripathi rushed from Mumbai to Kolkata Airport and then proceeded to Dhanbad.

Mishap on the Road

The car they were traveling in collided with a three-foot-high divider. Pankaj’s brother in law Rajesh Tiwari, who works at the Chittaranjan Railway Factory, and his wife Savita Tiwari were traveling together in the car on Saturday evening from Gopalganj.

Serious Injuries and Prompt Action

As they reached Nirsa Chowk, an attempt to save an auto resulted in Rajesh losing control of their car, causing it to collide with the divider at full speed, resulting in serious injuries, especially to Rajesh’s head. Upon receiving information, local police personnel from Nirsa Police Station reached the scene and provided assistance. Both were then transferred to SNMMCH in Dhanbad for further treatment, where Rajesh succumbed to his injuries.

Pankaj to Be with Family

Reports suggest that Pankaj will soon arrive in Dhanbad with his family members. It is also heard that he will stay there to inquire about his sister’s condition. Family members can shift to Kolkata for better care.

On the work front, Pankaj was recently seen in the OTT release “Murder Mubarak”. His upcoming film, “Stree 2”, is scheduled to be released this year.
