‘RAID 2’ Trailer Out Now: A High-Stakes Battle Against Black Money Begins!
The much-anticipated trailer of ‘RAID 2’, starring Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, was released on Tuesday, promising an intense and gripping cinematic experience. Packed with thrilling moments and powerful dialogues, the two-and-a-half-minute trailer has already caught the attention of fans and film enthusiasts.
Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who is now preparing for his 75th raid — this time on the residence of a powerful politician, Dada Manoharbhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh. The trailer opens with a tense scene as Amay arrives to conduct the raid. When questioned about his intimidating presence, he calmly responds, “From the outside, I may look like just a government officer.”

A Political Face-Off Like Never Before
Set seven years after the events of the original ‘RAID’ (2018), the sequel delves deeper into the world of white-collar crime and political corruption. Supriya Pathak joins the cast as Dada’s mother, while veteran actor Saurabh Shukla returns as Rameshwar Singh aka Tauji, adding depth and continuity to the storyline.
One of the most impactful moments in the trailer is the intense exchange between Amay and Dada. When Dada sarcastically asks, “Since when did the Pandavas start creating Chakravyuhs?”, Amay boldly replies, “Who said I’m a Pandav? I’m the entire Mahabharat.” Another standout line, “In this state, not the CM but Dada Bhai runs the government,” highlights Dada’s grip on the political system.

Riteish Deshmukh’s Powerful Transformation
Known for his comic timing, Riteish Deshmukh surprises fans with his powerful portrayal of the cunning and confident politician Dada Bhai. His commanding presence in the trailer proves that he is more than capable of handling intense and serious roles. A standout dialogue, “A good leader never gets his hands dirty,” perfectly captures the essence of his character.
