The teaser showcases Pushpa in a different avatar, engaging in a fierce battle with adversaries. This teaser garnered attention, with 1.8 million views on YouTube within just half an hour and surpassing 5 million views within three hours of its release.

Makers unveiled the teaser of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ on the 42nd birthday of South superstar Allu Arjun. This film is slated to release on August 15 this year. Directed by Sukumar, this movie is the sequel to the December 2021 release, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
‘Pushpa’ Spotted Wearing a Jhumka and Zanjar
In the 1 minute and 8-second teaser, Pushpa was seen in a completely different avatar. At the beginning of the teaser, he was seen wearing kohl, donning a turban, and worshiping Goddess Kali while tying anklets.
Subsequently, he was seen carrying a trident in his hand and climbing onto the enemy’s chest. Finally, he was seen fighting the adversary by pressing the edge of his saree against his chest.
Allu Arjun Expresses Gratitude While Sharing Film Teaser
While sharing the teaser of the film on social media, Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude to his fans. The actor wrote, “Thank you all for your wishes on my birthday. My heart is filled with gratitude. Please accept this teaser as my gratitude.”
“Pushpa 2: The Rule” is set to release on August 15, 2024, in cinemas worldwide. It will be released in five languages across the country. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles.
‘Pushpa: The Rule’ Demands ₹125 Crores
At one point, Allu used to charge between 18 to 20 crores for a film. According to a report from ‘The Political Daily’, the actor had taken a fee of ₹50 crores for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
Following its success, Allu is now demanding a fee ranging from ₹90 to ₹125 crores for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
‘Pushpa: The Rise’ Emerges as Highest Grosser of 2021
The highest-grossing film of 2021 was ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Released in 2021, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ stood as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year.
With its various versions, the film grossed ₹313 crores domestically and ₹350 crores worldwide. It ranks as the sixth highest-grossing Telugu film in the list of highest-grossing films.
National Award Won for the Film
Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. He became the first actor in the history of Telugu cinema to receive a National Award. Besides this, Allu also won the Filmfare South and South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) for the film.
