Hrithik Roshan Begins Prep for ‘Krrish 4’ Directed by Rakesh Roshan, Shooting Starts 2025

Preparation for Hrithik Roshan’s superhero thriller film, ‘Krrish 4’, has begun. The last three installments of this franchise, ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’, ‘Krrish’, and ‘Krrish 3’, were superhits, directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. According to reports, Rakesh Roshan has initiated the preparation for the fourth installment of this franchise, which is currently in the advanced stage.

Mid-Day’s recent reports suggest that Hrithik Roshan will collaborate with his father Rakesh Roshan on the concept, script, and other segments. Currently, Hrithik is busy with the shooting of his upcoming sequel film ‘War 2’. Once the shooting of the film is completed, he will commence the preparation for ‘Krrish 4’.

According to the reports, Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan are preparing to finalize the ideas and scripting this year. They will start shooting for it in the upcoming year. For the fourth installment of the franchise, they have prepared many different scripts and ideas. Now, they are just selecting suitable stories and concepts.

The ‘Krrish’ franchise began with the film ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ in 2003, starring Preity Zinta, Hrithik Roshan, and Rekha in significant roles. Three years later, the film’s spin-off sequence ‘Krrish’ was released, introducing the character of ‘Krrish’. In this film, Hrithik played the double role of Rohit and Krishna (Krrish). Seven years later, in 2013, the third film of the ‘Krrish’ franchise, ‘Krrish 3’, was released. And now, 11 years later, preparations for ‘Krrish 4’ are underway.
