Hrithik and Deepika Soar in Aerial Action Teaser for ‘Fighter’: Spectacular Sky Battle Unveiled for the Nation

The teaser for the film ‘Fighter,’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has been released. The film is set to be released on January 25th, Republic Day, this year. This marks the first collaboration of Hrithik and Deepika in a movie. The teaser showcases powerful aerial action scenes, with extensive VFX and CGI work done by the producers.

Hrithik-Deepika’s First Collaboration – Teaser

Apart from Hrithik and Deepika, the teaser also features Anil Kapoor. He will be seen in the role of Squadron Leader Rakesh Rokki Singh. While Hrithik plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Patti, Deepika portrays Squadron Leader Minhal Rathore. This film marks the first time Hrithik and Deepika are working together in a movie.

Creating India’s First Aerial Action Franchise

Apart from the main cast, the film also includes performances by Karan Singh Grover, Sanjida Sheikh, and Akshay Oberoi. The producers plan to develop this film as India’s first aerial action franchise.

British Studio Worked on VFX for 6 Months

The shooting of the film took place in Assam, Hyderabad, Jammu and Kashmir, and Mumbai. The British visual effects and computer animation studio DNEG (Double Negative) worked on the film’s VFX for six months after the shooting was completed. The film was initially scheduled to release on September 30, 2022, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed.

First Look to be Released on August 15

The first look of the film was scheduled to be released on August 15th earlier this year. The teaser titled ‘Spirit of Fighter’ was released on the same day. In this 57-second teaser, Hrithik, Deepika, and Anil Kapoor showcased their Air Force officer looks. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is set to be released on January 25, 2024, as announced in 2021.
