Yami Gautam’s film ‘Article 370’ amassed an impressive collection of Rs 34 crore 71 lakhs worldwide during its opening weekend. In just three days, the film garnered Rs 25 crore 45 lakhs at the Indian box office. However, its success didn’t stop there. On Monday, the film added another Rs 3 crore 60 lakhs to its Indian box office earnings. 

With this, the total Indian box office collection of the film has now reached Rs 29 crore 5 lakhs. The overwhelming response underscores the widespread appeal and significance of ‘Article 370’ among audiences, making it a standout success in the realm of Indian cinema.

Yami Gautam, in a recent post, expressed her gratitude towards the audience for the success of her film, which many considered a technical film. She shared on Twitter, “When we were making the film, many people said that the audience wouldn’t like this film. 

People said it’s a highly technical film. There were many political aspects involved, but we moved forward with courage.” Through her words, Yami Gautam acknowledges the challenges associated with making a film perceived as technical and political, yet emphasizes the importance of perseverance in the face of doubt.

Yami expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you for proving them wrong.” She further wrote, “We know that these people are underestimating our audience.
