Akshay Kumar Discusses Flop Films and Work Ethic

Earlier, Akshay Kumar addressed the topic of his films’ flops in an interview with Galatta. He commented on the criticism he faces for doing multiple films in a year, stating, “I don’t understand why people are troubled by the fact that I do four films a year. If I did one film every two years, there’s no guarantee it would be successful.”

He added, “There are around 200 films made in Hindi each year, and many more in the South. Even though there are only 8-12 prominent actors, the question persists about who is the number one actor and who is not. Everyone has work.”
