Sudden Demise of ‘Dangal’ Star Suhani Bhatnagar at 19: A Tragic Loss to Bollywood

Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who portrayed a child artist role in the movie ‘Dangal’ starring Aamir Khan, has passed away at the age of 19. She had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Faridabad for the past few days.

Just a few days ago, she was admitted to the hospital. She had developed water retention in her entire body due to reactions to the medications she was taking for her treatment. As a result, she passed away on Friday. Suhani’s last rites will be performed at the Sector-15 crematorium in Faridabad on Saturday. Suhani played the role of Aamir Khan’s younger daughter (Junior Babita Phogat) in ‘Dangal’.

Aamir Khan’s team wrote on social media, “We are deeply saddened by the news of Suhani’s demise. Our condolences to her mother Pooja ji and the entire family. Suhani was a very talented girl, she always worked as a team player. Without her, ‘Dangal’ is incomplete. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts.”

After hearing the news of Suhani’s demise, the director of the film ‘Dangal’, Nitesh Tiwari, has also expressed his condolences. Nitesh stated, “Suhani’s death is absolutely devastating and heart-breaking. She was a very cheerful child. My deepest condolences to her family.”

After completing her studies, Suhani aspired to work in films. She portrayed the role of Aamir Khan’s younger daughter (Junior Babita Phogat) in the movie ‘Dangal’. Apart from this film, she also appeared in several television commercials. However, later she took a break from work to complete her studies. In many interviews, she mentioned that she would return to films after completing her studies.

The last post was three years ago. Suhani was not very active on social media. Her latest post was on November 25, 2021. People were amazed to see Suhani’s transformation in this photo. She had undergone a significant change in her appearance and had become much more glamorous than before.

Suhani Bhatnagar was a famous child artist in Bollywood. She gained limelight with Aamir Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Dangal’ (2016). Her acting was highly praised in the film, and she had also worked in many TV ads.
