Comedian Munnawar Faces Clashes at Iftar Party: Eggs Thrown At ‘Bigg Boss-17’ Winner

A video featuring Munawar Faruqui has gone viral on social media, showing him in a state of anger. According to reports, Munawar had been invited for Iftar at a restaurant near Minara Masjid but ended up going to a different place nearby. This led to the restaurant owner getting angry, resulting in Munawar being thrown out. The incident occurred on April 8th.

The video of this incident has been circulating on social media, where Munawar Faruqui is seen getting into an argument with the restaurant owner. Heavy crowds are also seen surrounding him. Munawar is escorted away by his security guards.

According to media reports, the restaurant owner and his five staff members have filed a complaint against Munawar. So far, Munawar has not made any statements regarding this matter. A few days ago, Mumbai Police had detained Munawar Faruqui and 13 others for allegedly causing disturbances in a hookah parlour. All of them were later released after questioning. The case is under investigation.

Mumbai Police Finds Information

An officer associated with the Fort Division Hotel Sablaan informed, “The police received information that tobacco is being served at this hookah parlour. Subsequently, the police raided the parlour and detained 13 individuals, including Munawar Faruqui.”

9 Hookahs Valued at Rs. 13,500

The police, acting without proper authorization, raided the hookah parlour and confiscated nine hookahs valued at Rs. 13,500. Cases have been registered under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act.

Winner of Many Reality Shows

After several controversies, Munawar participated in reality shows. For the first time in 2022, he participated in Kangana Ranaut’s reality show “Lok Ape”. He was also the winner of its first season. Later that year, he became the winner of “Big Boss 17”.
