The second pre-wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant commenced on May 29th. On Wednesday, a lavish welcome lunch was organized at the Italian Parliament for all the guests, followed by a cruise where all attendees embarked on their journey. 

Now, glimpses of several videos and images from Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding ceremony have surfaced. The first day featured a star-studded night party with a performance by South Africa’s DJ Black Coffee. 

Another performance showcased was by the popular American group, Backstreet Boys. Pictures of Ranveer Singh from this function have also emerged.

Cruise Shines Bright at the Starry Night Event on the First Day

On the evening of May 29th, a starry night party was held aboard the cruise. The cruise was elegantly decorated for this occasion. The theme of the party was star-inspired, with white flowers and stars adorning the decorations.

A Glimpse of Day 1 of Anant-Radhika’s Pre-Wedding

Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding ceremony commenced on May 29th from the city of Palermo, Italy. Here, guests were first treated to a welcome lunch, followed by everyone boarding the cruise. The second event of the celebration took place on the cruise itself, named the Starry Night.

Celebrity Ascent Cruise Sets Sail from Palermo Port on May 29th

The celebrity ascent cruise for Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding ceremony is underway. This cruise departed from Palermo on the 29th of May, embarking on a journey spanning 4380 kilometers, with its destination set for Southern France.

Luxury Afloat: Celebrity Ascent Cruise

The ‘Celebrity Ascent’ is a cruise ship with a passenger capacity of 3279, offering a luxurious experience akin to a 5-star floating resort. Launched on December 1, 2023, in Malta, this cruise boasts top-tier amenities and services. 

However, for the pre-wedding ceremony, only 800 guests will be accommodated, including 300 VIPs. To ensure the comfort and satisfaction of these guests, there will be a dedicated team of 600 hospitality staff onboard. The arrangements for this extravagant affair are managed by the European tour operator company Alokci Brothers.

Celebrities Departing from Mumbai for the Pre-Wedding Celebration

Several celebrities departed from Mumbai on Wednesday for the pre-wedding festivities. Among them were Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Sachin Tendulkar, along with several others. 

All these celebrities boarded Ambani’s Jet A340 at 11:30 AM from Mumbai to Palermo for the event. Upon arrival at Palermo Airport, each individual was transported to the cruise via limousine.

Chartered Aircraft for 10 Days: Ambani Family’s Grand Gesture

In a grand gesture, the Ambani family has chartered an Airbus A340-31 aircraft for approximately 7 to 10 days. This Airbus will fly from Mumbai to Palermo, and from there to the city of Genoa, Italy. 

Once the pre-wedding celebrations are over, all guests will return to Mumbai aboard this plane. The Ambani family has chartered a total of 25 aircraft for this occasion. Earlier on May 27th, 8 jets had flown from Mumbai to Barcelona, Spain. Many guests also boarded the cruise from here, arriving at Palermo port this morning.

First Day: Guests Arriving for the Pre-Wedding Celebration

On the first day of the pre-wedding festivities, guests shared pictures of their city travels. Many celebrities and guests had already arrived in Italy well before the event. On the 29th of May, glimpses of their city travels and the cruise emerged.

Four-Day Celebration: Attendance of 300 VIP Guests Expected

The festivities will continue for four days, with the participation of 300 VIP guests. Families and acquaintances from both India and abroad, belonging to the Ambani and business families, along with numerous friends and celebrities, have arrived in Italy to partake in these ongoing celebrations. 

If reports are to be believed, approximately 300 VIP guests will grace this second pre-wedding event.

Special Pre-Wedding Dinner Party on June 1st

The final day of the pre-wedding ceremonies will culminate with a special dinner party on June 1st, set to take place in the Italian city of Portofino. Elaborate preparations are underway for this exclusive event, where all guests will be transported via the ‘Celebrity Ascent’ cruise from the port. 

Guests will be escorted from the port to the dinner venue. Following the event, everyone will depart for their respective homes via flights.

Only Ambani’s Guests Allowed in the City

Portofino’s mayor has announced that only guests attending the pre-wedding ceremonies will be allowed in the city. According to Bhasin, the mayor of Portofino, permission to roam around the city will be granted only to those guests arriving for the pre-wedding festivities, starting at 5 p.m. on June 1st. For this purpose, special passes have been issued to all guests.

During this period, local residents will remain in their homes, and markets will be closed. The population of Portofino during the tourist season usually revolves around 12 to 15 thousand residents.

Why Portofino is Special?

Portofino is hosting this grand dinner party marking the conclusion of Anant and Radhika’s second pre-wedding event. The city holds special significance as it is considered Italy’s wealthiest city.

On average, the per capita income here is around 82 lakhs INR. Portofino is renowned for its colorful architecture and is popular among affluent individuals. Its harbor is also particularly notable.

Shakira May Perform Too

According to a report, global pop singer Shakira is set to perform at this second pre-wedding ceremony. It’s been heard that she will charge between 10 to 15 crore rupees for performing at this private event. 

Previously, international pop star Rihanna had given a performance at the first pre-wedding ceremony held in Jamnagar.
