Dahod, Gujarat — A massive fire erupted late Monday night at the under-construction NTPC solar power plant located in the Bhatiwada area of Dahod district. The fire caused widespread damage, with an estimated financial loss of ₹400 crore.
According to reports, five firefighters — four from Dahod and one from Zalod — worked tirelessly throughout the night to bring the blaze under control. After hours of continuous water spraying, the fire was finally subdued in the early hours of Tuesday.

As soon as the fire broke out, the Dahod Fire Brigade rushed to the spot. Security guards and all employees present at the site were safely evacuated in time, preventing any casualties.

Given the severity of the incident, top officials including the Dahod SP (Superintendent of Police), DYSP, and Mamlatdar arrived at the site immediately. Under the supervision of the SP, police personnel secured the area and extended support to the fire department.
