eBlu Fio E-Scooter: 1L Launch, 110km Range | Ola S1 Air & Ather 450S Rivals
Godavari Electric Motors (GEM) has launched its first electric scooter, ‘eblu Feo’. The company claims that this scooter will run 110 km on a full charge. The scooter will compete with Ola S1 Air and Ather 450S in the Indian market.
GEM has introduced it in a single variant. Its ex-showroom price is 99,999. The company started pre-booking of the electric scooter from August 15 and its deliveries will start from today (August 23). The company is giving a warranty of 3 years or 30 thousand km on the scooter.
Design and Color Options
Blue Fio is designed like a traditional scooter with elements like round headlamps. It gets a long, ergonomically designed seat for a comfortable ride.
The scooter is available with 5 color options. These include Cyan Blue, Wine Red, Jet Black, Tele Gray and Traffic White. The ground clearance of the electric scooter is 170 mm, which makes it easy to go off-roading.
eBlue Fio: Battery, Range and Top Speed
The scooter is powered by an electric motor in the rear wheel, which generates 110 Nm of torque. The top speed of the scooter is 60 kmph. The scooter gets three driving modes, Economy, Normal and Power. The scooter is equipped with a regenerative system, which reduces the strain on the battery and helps increase the range.
To power the electric motor, a 2.52 kW Li-ion battery is provided. As per the company’s claim, this electric scooter will give a range of 110Km on a full charge. Along with this, a home charger with a capacity of 60V is available, which can fully charge the scooter in 5.25 hours.
eBlu Fio: Braking and Comfort Features
CBS disc brakes are provided in both the wheels for better control of the scooter. Both the wheels have 12-inch tubeless tires. It features high-resolution AHO LED headlamps at the front and LED tail lamps at the rear. There is a sensor in the stand next to it, which when opened does not start the scooter. It also has a convenience box, which can hold small items. It also has charging points for charging smartphones.

The scooter has a 7.4-inch color digital display. It gets all the necessary alerts like service alert, side stand sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation assistant, incoming message alert, call alert, riding mode display, reverse indicator, battery SOC indicator, throttle fault sensor, motor fault sensor, battery alert and helmet. .
