Infinix Unveils Tri-Fold Smartphone: World’s Thinnest Phone Also Introduced at MWC 2025

Barcelona, Spain – The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 has officially commenced, and leading smartphone brands are showcasing groundbreaking innovations. Infinix has introduced the Zero Mini Tri-Fold Concept Smartphone, alongside the world’s first solar-powered concept phone. Additionally, Tecno has unveiled the world’s thinnest smartphone with a 5200mAh battery.

Infinix Zero Mini Tri-Fold Concept Smartphone

Infinix has launched a tri-fold smartphone featuring a dual vertical hinge, allowing it to fold three times. Its outward-folding design enables transformation into a wearable fitness accessory or a bicycle-mounted gadget, similar to a clip-on action camera.

The smartphone boasts a dual-screen setup, enabling real-time translation and multi-tasking features. The camera supports high-resolution photography, utilizing the screen as a viewfinder. This innovative device promises a professional user experience.

Infinix’s Solar-Charging & Color-Changing Concept Phones

Infinix has also introduced its first solar-powered concept smartphone, which can be charged both indoors and outdoors using sunlight. This is made possible by AI-powered perovskite photovoltaic material.

Additionally, the company showcased a color-changing concept phone equipped with E-Color Shift 2.0 technology. Users can customize the back panel’s color, offering up to 30 different design variations.

Tecno Unveils the World’s Thinnest Smartphone

Tecno has launched the thinnest smartphone in the 5200mAh battery segment. Named Spark Slim, the device has an ultra-thin 5.75mm design, making it even slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.

Key features of the Tecno Spark Slim include a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, a 50MP dual-camera setup, and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Techno claims that the Spark Slim smartphone is thinner than a pencil.

MWC 2025 Kicks Off in Barcelona

The Mobile World Congress 2025 has officially begun in Barcelona, Spain, with tech giants unveiling their latest innovations. Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26, while Nothing is set to launch the Nothing 3a and 3a Pro. Xiaomi is also expected to unveil the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra at the event.
