Aamir Khan recently announced his decision to quit smoking during the trailer launch event of his son Junaid Khan’s film Loveyapa. During the event, he also shared insights about his personal and professional life.

Aamir Raises Awareness About Smoking

Aamir said, “I have quit smoking. I used to enjoy smoking a lot. I smoked cigarettes for many years and then switched to pipes. Tobacco is something I enjoy, but it is not good for health. No one should smoke. It is not a good habit. I am happy that I have given up this bad habit.”

Aamir shared, “I am very happy to have quit smoking. Today, I would like to tell those watching and listening to me to quit smoking as well. This decision was a turning point for me because I made it for my son Junaid. I truly wished for this in my heart. Whether Junaid’s film succeeds or not, as a father, I am quitting smoking from my side.”

Aamir also shared relationship tips with fans during the event, explaining how to give the “green signal” in a relationship. Additionally, he mentioned that he is very romantic in real life, and fans can confirm this by asking his two ex-wives.

Loveyapa to Release on February 7

Talking about the film Loveyapa, Junaid stars in the lead role alongside Khushi Kapoor. Junaid made his screen debut last year with the Netflix film Maharaj, while his first theatrical release Loveyapa will hit cinemas on February 7. The film is directed by Advait Chandan, who also directed Aamir’s film Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir will next be seen in his upcoming film Sitare Zameen Par.
