Lava Yuva 2 5G Smartphone Launched in India: 50MP Camera, 5000mAh Battery, Poco Rival
Indian smartphone maker Lava has launched its new budget 5G smartphone, the Lava Yuva 2 5G, priced at ₹9,499. This phone is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The new Lava smartphone comes in two colors – Marble Black and Marble White. It features a 50MP rear camera, a 5000mAh battery, and is equipped with up to 8GB RAM. The phone will compete in the under ₹10,000 price segment against models like Poco C75, Moto G35, Redmi A4, Redmi 13C, Tecno Spark 30C, and Infinix Hot 50 in the Indian market.

Display: The Lava Yuva 2 comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It features a punch-hole design with a 2.5D curved screen built on an IPS panel. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 264PPI, and 700 nits peak brightness.
Camera: For photography, the Lava Yuva 2 has a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash. It includes a 50MP primary sensor working alongside a 2MP secondary AI lens. For selfies and video calling, the phone features an 8MP front camera.
Processor: The Lava 5G mobile runs on Android 14 OS and is powered by the Unisoc T760 octa-core processor built on a 6nm fabrication. The company claims the smartphone has achieved a 440K+ AnTuTu score.
Memory: The phone is launched with 4GB RAM and features an additional 4GB of expandable virtual RAM, providing a total of 8GB RAM. It also comes with 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via an SD card.
Battery: The Lava Yuva 2 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh battery for long-lasting power. It supports 18W fast charging for quicker recharges.
Connectivity: The new Lava mobile offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and OTG support. For security, it includes face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also features dual stereo speakers for sound.
