P.V. Sindhu Marries Businessman Venkata Datta: Ties the Knot Following Hindu Traditions in Udaipur; Looks Gorgeous in a Golden Cream Saree

India’s star badminton player, P.V. Sindhu, has entered into the bond of marriage. She got married in Udaipur, Rajasthan, with several celebrities attending the event. P.V. Sindhu tied the knot with Venkata Datta Sai, a businessman. 

The couple followed Hindu rituals for their wedding ceremony. Central Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also attended the wedding and shared a photo of the event on social media.

The wedding was attended by close family members along with a few invited celebrities, though it was a relatively intimate affair. A reception will be held on Tuesday, with many distinguished guests expected to attend. 

Sindhu also invited cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and she personally visited his home along with Venkata. The wedding ceremony took place at the Rafels Hotel in Udaipur.

While brides are often seen wearing red outfits for their weddings, P.V. Sindhu stood out in a special saree. She chose a golden cream-colored saree for the occasion. 

This choice of attire reminded many of the unique outfits seen at the wedding of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Sindhu looked absolutely beautiful in the golden cream saree, exuding elegance and grace.

The wedding ceremony followed South Indian customs and traditions. In the evening, the bride and groom exchanged garlands, and the night concluded with the traditional pheras. Guests were treated to a delightful mix of South Indian, Mewadi, and Rajasthani cuisines during the event. 

While there were speculations that many celebrities might attend, only a select few special guests were present. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended the wedding and offered his blessings to the couple.

P.V. Sindhu’s future husband, Venkata Datta Sai (VD Sai), completed his diploma in Liberal Arts and Science/Liberal Studies from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. 

In 2018, he graduated with a BBA in Accounting and Finance from FLAME University of Business Administration. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
