ATS Detains Two Suspicious Individuals in Godhra After 25 Days in Pakistan, Ongoing Interrogation at SP Office

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team, along with the local police, conducted a search operation in Godhra, Panchmahal district. Information has emerged that two suspicious individuals were apprehended from the Ladhumati area of Godhra. 

These individuals had recently returned from Pakistan, where they had stayed for 25 days. The ATS brought the two suspects to the SP office, where they have been interrogated for the past four hours.

Interrogation Underway at SP Office After Arrests in Godhra

Early this morning, the Gujarat ATS team, along with local police, launched a search operation in the minority area of Godhra city, Panchmahal. 

The police have detained two individuals, and the details of their arrests are currently emerging. The interrogation of the suspects is ongoing at the SP office.

NIA Searches in Sanand, Ahmedabad, Over Terrorist Connections

Six days ago, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a search in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, after detaining a suspicious individual working at a madrassa. The individual was questioned regarding connections with the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. However, after questioning, Adil was released, and the local police were instructed to monitor him.

In recent years, many terrorist organizations have shifted their operations to online platforms, creating specialized groups and connecting individuals to different ideological modules. These groups later align members with the terrorist organization’s radical ideology. Central agencies have repeatedly found links between online platforms and terrorist activities during their investigations.

Suspicious Madrassa Worker Detained and Released After NIA Interrogation

A man named Adil, working at a madrassa near Sanand in Ahmedabad district, was found to have links with the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, according to information received by central agencies. 

Based on this, the NIA, with the help of the Ahmedabad district police, detained him late at night for questioning. However, after the interrogation, he was released, and local authorities have been instructed to keep a close watch on him.
