Surat Stylist Wins CMC Asian Global Championship, Impresses Judges with Unique Hairdo
Ghanshyam Gadhadara from Surat brought glory to India by securing the first rank in the hair styling competition at the CMC Asian Global World Cup Championship in Kazakhstan. The championship featured hair stylists from 10 countries, including Kazakhstan, the UK, and China. Ghanshyam impressed the judges with his hairstyle, which he created in just 30 minutes, despite going without sleep for three days.
15 Hair Stylists Represented Gujarat
Last month, the CMC Asian Global World Championship was held in Kazakhstan, featuring an international competition among 10 countries. World-class artists participated in the event. Among them, 15 hair stylists from India and Gujarat took part, with Ghanshyam Gadhadara from Surat securing the first rank. By achieving this feat, Ghanshyam not only made Surat proud but also brought recognition to India in the field of hair styling.

“Beauty Industry in India Lacks Adequate Support,” Says Ghanshyam
Speaking about his achievement, Ghanshyam expressed his joy at winning first place in the hair styling competition. He vowed to continue representing India in the beauty industry. He also pointed out that while many international competitions are organized in the beauty sector, the industry does not receive enough importance and encouragement in India. Highlighting India’s rich cultural and artistic heritage, he emphasized that with proper support from the government, young talents like him would have better platforms to showcase their skills and bring international recognition to the country.

“I Practiced Non-Stop for 72 Hours”
Ghanshyam shared that he has been working as a hair stylist for the past 10 years and prepared extensively for this competition. He revealed that he practiced continuously for 72 hours without sleep, which ultimately paid off. He expressed pride in securing the top position for India among participants from 10 countries, enhancing the reputation of his team and his nation on a global stage.
