Congress Alleges Foreign Minister Jaishankar’s Son’s Ties with George Soros, BJP Remains Silent

While the BJP stirred controversy by accusing Congress leaders of having links with the anti-India George Soros, Congress retaliated by uncovering a connection between Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and Soros.

Congress alleged that Jaishankar’s son, Dhruva Jaishankar, worked at the Aspen Institute, a recipient of millions of dollars in funding from George Soros’ trust, and received a significant salary. Congress has raised questions about the connection between the Aspen Institute, the German Marshall Fund, and S. Jaishankar‘s son. What is the relationship between these two organizations and George Soros?

Congress Leader Pawan Khera Challenges BJP Leaders Over Foreign Scholarships and Soros-Funded Jobs

Congress to Continue Raising Allegations Against Gautam Adani; Pawan Khera Questions BJP’s Silence

Congress has made it clear that it will continue to raise the issue of allegations against opposition leader Gautam Adani. The party accused BJP’s silence on the matter of being an attempt to hide details, likening it to the behavior of a criminal trying to cover up evidence.

Pawan Khera raised questions regarding the connection between Dhruva Jaishankar, son of Union Minister S. Jaishankar, and the Washington-based Aspen Institute. This issue is expected to be debated in Parliament soon.

In response to BJP leader Tarun Chugh’s accusations against Congress leaders, including Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, alleging ties with the George Soros Foundation to destabilize India’s unity, Khera sarcastically remarked that BJP seems to think Congress leaders can be trapped by invoking Soros’ name. However, he emphasized that Congress has nothing to hide, while BJP is trying to conceal the truth—particularly their silence on the Adani issue, while raising the Soros matter.

Dhruva Jaishankar Linked to Dhirubhai Ambani’s Foundation, Previously Worked with George Soros Funded Aspen Institute

Dhruva Jaishankar, son of Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, is currently serving as the Executive Director at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in the U.S., a position he has held since 2018. ORF was established in the early 1990s under the guidance of Dhirubhai Ambani, and Reliance Industries has been its largest donor for years. While the think tank claims to be independent, it remains financially and operationally deeply connected to Reliance.

Before his time at ORF, Dhruva Jaishankar worked at the Aspen Institute, which has received substantial donations from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. S. Jaishankar served as India’s Ambassador to the U.S. from 2013 to 2015, and it is alleged that he may have used his diplomatic connections to benefit his son’s career.
