Attempted Attack on Singer Vijay Suvala: Film-Style Chase Leads to Complaint Against 7 in Ahmedabad

Renowned Gujarati singer and BJP worker Vijay Suvala faced a life-threatening attack when a group of around seven individuals ambushed his car with swords and wooden sticks. The dramatic incident unfolded as Suvala and his driver narrowly escaped after being chased in a filmy style. The attack reportedly stemmed from a dispute over program scheduling.

Social Event Turns Chaotic

According to Suvala’s complaint, the incident occurred late at night when he and his friends were returning from a social event in Suvala village. While driving near Zundal Circle, Suvala received a threatening call from Fula Rabari, who was joined on a conference call by Navghan Gatiya and Anil Badshah. The trio accused Suvala of neglecting their program requests and prioritizing others. Despite Suvala’s explanation that his dates were pre-scheduled and inclusive of all communities, the callers issued death threats, demanding compliance with their requests.

Armed Ambush at Agora Mall

After concluding another program in Kalol, Suvala’s car was intercepted near Agora Mall by a black, number-plate-less Innova. Armed with swords, knives, and wooden sticks, Navghan, Fula, Anil, and four others confronted Suvala. They warned him of dire consequences for not adhering to their demands. The attackers attempted to assault Suvala, prompting his driver to speed away, initiating a high-speed chase that continued until Indira Bridge. Suvala eventually sought police assistance by calling 100.

Legal Action Initiated

Following the escape, Suvala filed a complaint at Adalaj police station. Police registered a case against the attackers and launched an investigation. Adalaj Police Inspector K.B. Sankhala confirmed the complaint and assured that the matter was under thorough examination.

Previous Case Against Vijay Suvala

This isn’t the first controversy involving Suvala. In August, he and others were arrested by Odhav police on charges of issuing threats and assault. The case included accusations of an attack on a business office in Ahmedabad. Suvala was later released on a notice but remains entangled in legal disputes.
