Toyota Innova Hycross Price Hike: Strong Hybrid Engine, 21.1kmpl Mileage, From ₹19.94L
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased the price of its popular hybrid car, the Toyota Innova Hycross. The entry-level GX and GX (O) variants of this multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) have become ₹17,000 more expensive, while the top variant has seen an increase of ₹36,000.
After the price hike, the ex-showroom price of the Innova Hycross will start from ₹19.94 lakh and go up to ₹31.34 lakh. The new prices will be applicable from January 1. The company has announced the new prices for the Innova Hycross, and soon it will reveal the updated prices for its other models.
Warranty and Hybrid Battery Details
The company offers a standard 3-year or 1,00,000 km warranty on the Hycross, with an optional extended warranty of 5 years or 2,20,000 km. Additionally, the hybrid battery comes with an 8-year or 1,60,000 km warranty.
The vehicle is a self-charging strong hybrid electric vehicle (SHEV) and was launched in India on December 28, 2022. The Innova Hycross is available in 6 variants: GX, GX (O), VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O), and it offers 7- and 8-seat configurations.

Performance and Engine Specifications
The Toyota Innova Hycross is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 172 hp of power and 205 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. The hybrid system in the higher variants offers 21.1 km/l mileage and provides a range of 1,097 km on a full tank. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds.
Additionally, the new TNGA 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with CVT offers 174 hp, while the 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine with e-Drive delivers a maximum power of 186 hp.
Exterior Design Features
The Innova Hycross features an SUV-centric design, with a large new front grille that is connected to attractive LED headlamps. The grille also features a new chrome garnish that runs across the center. The front and rear bumpers are equipped with new faux silver skid plates.
The vehicle comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, and at the rear, it has wraparound LED tail-lamps. The Innova Hycross is larger than the Innova Crysta, with an additional 20mm in length, 20mm in width, and a 100mm longer wheelbase.
Interior Features
The Innova Hycross includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, second-row power ottoman seats, mood lighting, and a powered tailgate. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, rear sunshades, front LED fog lamps, and a rear defogger.

The Innova Hycross comes with Toyota Safety Sense Suite, which includes dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beam, lane change assist, blind spot monitor, 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, panoramic view monitor with dynamic back guide, EBD with ABS, and rear disc brakes, among other excellent safety features.
