Junagadh: The state continues to witness a rise in road accidents, and in a tragic incident early this morning near Bhanduri, close to Maliya Hatina in Junagadh district, a collision between two cars led to the death of seven individuals.

Among the deceased were five students who were on their way to appear for an exam. The accident intensified when a gas cylinder inside one of the cars exploded, resulting in a fire that spread to nearby huts.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, and emergency services are on the scene to manage the aftermath.

Seven Dead, Including Five Students, in a Horrific Road Accident

Junagadh: According to reports, a devastating accident occurred around 8:00 AM today near Bhanduri village on the Junagadh-Veraval highway, close to Maliya Hatina. Two cars collided violently, resulting in the tragic death of seven individuals, including five students who were traveling to take an exam.

The collision caused a gas cylinder in one of the cars to explode, leading to a fire that spread to nearby huts. Emergency teams have been deployed, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.

Police and Rescue Teams Reach Accident Site

Following the early morning collision of two cars on the highway, locals quickly gathered at the scene to assist with rescue efforts and informed the police and emergency services.

Upon receiving the alert, a police team, along with an ambulance (108 service) and fire department personnel, promptly arrived at the accident site. The fire team successfully extinguished the blaze that had spread to nearby huts due to the explosion.

Meanwhile, the police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
