In Surat’s Katargam area, a horrifying incident occurred when 57-year-old Jitendra Kanthariya, a peon at Bank of Baroda, was brutally killed after a minor argument over vehicle parking. The accused, Mayur Mer, allegedly ran over Jitendra with a pickup truck and dragged him for 150 meters, leading to his instant death.

The altercation began over a simple request to park the vehicle properly. In a fit of rage, Mayur struck Jitendra with his pickup truck. Despite efforts by onlookers to stop the vehicle, the victim was dragged under the front tire for a significant distance before the accused fled the scene.
