Ahmedabad Fans Eager to Pay Up to Rs. 20,000 for Diljit Dosanjh’s Concert Passes

Tickets for pop singer Diljit Dosanjh’s live concert, scheduled on Sunday, November 17, at Gift City in Gandhinagar, are being sold on the black market for up to INR 20,000. 

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted nationwide raids and detained around 10 suspects involved in the black-market sales of concert tickets, which were circulating widely on social media. 

ED sources also report that counterfeit tickets have surfaced, as scammers attempt to exploit the high demand from Diljit Dosanjh’s fans scrambling to secure tickets.

Black Market Ticket Sales for Diljit Dosanjh’s Concert in Gandhinagar

Entry to Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Gift City, Gandhinagar, will be through Silver and Gold passes, available on platforms like BookMyShow and Zomato. The Silver pass is priced at INR 3,000, while the Gold pass costs INR 5,000. 

However, these passes are being sold on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp groups at inflated black-market rates—INR 15,000 for a Silver pass and INR 20,000 for a Gold pass. According to ED sources, many of these tickets are fake. Scammers are taking advantage of Diljit Dosanjh’s popularity to sell counterfeit tickets to unsuspecting fans.

ED Raids 13 Locations in Ticket Black Market Investigation for Diljit Dosanjh’s Concert

In connection with the black market ticket sales for Diljit Dosanjh’s live concert, Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted raids at 13 locations across the country, seizing mobile phones, laptops, and SIM cards. Investigations are still ongoing in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Bangalore, and Chandigarh. 

Local police, GST officials, and central agencies are involved in the probe, but authorities have remained tight-lipped about further details. The sale of these tickets is reportedly happening with GST taxes, both central and state. Officials acknowledge that the number of ticket buyers in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar’s black market is high but are withholding additional information.

Black Market Ticket Sales Common at Diljit Dosanjh’s Concerts, Say Authorities

Authorities have stated that black market ticket sales are a recurring issue at all of Diljit Dosanjh’s concerts. After the concert in Gift City on Sunday, November 17, there are plans for concerts at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on November 26-27.

Before that, a concert is scheduled in Hyderabad on November 15, followed by performances in Lucknow on November 22 and Pune on November 24. Earlier, a concert was held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center, where black market ticket sales were also reported.
