Luxury Bus Goes Out of Control in Surat: Driver Collides with 7 to 8 Vehicles from Kamrej Char Rasta; One Dead, Four Injured

A luxury bus driver collided with approximately eight vehicles, both small and large, from Kamrej Char Rasta to Dada Bhagwan Temple in Surat district. Locals managed to apprehend the bus driver near Kamrej Char Rasta and handed him over to the police. The accident resulted in one fatality and injuries to four others.

Kanaiya Travels Bus Causes Multiple Accidents on National Highway

Accidents on the National Highway passing through Surat district are increasing day by day. In a recent incident, a luxury bus from Kanaiya Travels lost control on National Highway 48. 

The driver recklessly collided with approximately seven to eight vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, and rickshaws, while traveling from Kamrej Char Rasta to Dada Bhagwan Temple.

Driver Handed Over to Police After Kanaiya Travels Bus Accident

The bus involved in the accident near Kamrej has been identified as belonging to Kanaiya Travels, which was traveling from Gunda, Jamnagar to Surat. The incident resulted in one fatality and injuries to four individuals. 

Bystanders promptly apprehended the driver and handed him over to the police. Authorities are currently taking further action regarding the incident.

Eyewitness Account: “I Saw Someone Die Right in Front of Me”

Ketanbhai, a bystander present at the scene of the accident near Kamrej Char Rasta, recounted, “The bus driver was recklessly driving without braking. He was knocking over everyone standing on the road. 

I witnessed one person die right in front of me, and two women were injured, with their legs severely crushed. The bus kept crashing into my vehicle, and I couldn’t escape because I didn’t know what would happen next. We were just praying to God.”

Biker Escapes by Jumping Off After Collision

The biker who was struck by the luxury bus reported, “I was heading towards Surat when the driver of the private luxury bus named Kanaiya Travels was driving recklessly under the influence of alcohol. 

With no space to maneuver to the side, I had to jump off my bike to save myself, but my bike was completely destroyed. In my estimation, this accident resulted in the deaths of 3 to 4 people.”
