Toyota Launches Limited Edition Urban Cruiser Teaser for Festive Season
As part of the festive season, Toyota has launched the limited edition of its Urban Cruiser Teaser SUV. This edition comes with complimentary accessories worth ₹20,160, which enhance both the exterior and interior of the car. Priced at ₹10.56 lakh, this limited edition offers upgrades like granite gray and red spoilers for the front and rear, chrome garnishes around the headlights, door sill guards, and side moldings. Inside, it features door visors, all-weather 3D mats, and door lamps. Customers can take advantage of this limited edition until October 31st.
Features and Specifications of the Urban Cruiser Teaser
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Teaser is built on the Maruti Fronx platform, sharing similar dimensions, but with a unique front design to provide a fresh look. The coupe-style subcompact SUV features a bold, glossy black honeycomb mesh grille with the Toyota logo at its center. It also comes with updated LED taillights connected by a light bar on the boot and new-styled alloy wheels, giving it a modern appearance.
Inside, the cabin shares similarities with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a twin-pod instrument console with an MID unit in the middle. The cabin gets a fresh dual-tone treatment and comes equipped with features such as automatic climate control, connected car technology, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, cruise control, and automatic LED headlamps with DRLs. Additional features include a 6-speaker sound system, push-button start/stop, and rear AC vents.
Engine Options and Performance
The Urban Cruiser Teaser is available with two engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. The 1.2-liter engine delivers 89bhp and 113Nm of peak torque, while the turbocharged unit generates 99bhp and 148Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual transmission for both engines, while the naturally aspirated engine gets a 5-speed AMT, and the turbo petrol engine comes with a 6-speed torque converter. Additionally, a CNG powertrain is also available.
