Maruti Launches Special Edition Swift ‘Blitz’ for Festive Season
Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of the Swift, named the ‘Blitz’, just in time for the festive season. The Swift Blitz will be available in five variants – LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O), and VXI(O) AMT. In addition to the features available across all variants, Maruti has equipped the Blitz edition with a rear underbody spoiler, boot spoiler, fog lamps, illuminated door sills, door visors, and side moldings.
Price Range of Swift Blitz
The Swift Blitz is priced between ₹6.49 lakh and ₹8.02 lakh (ex-showroom). Maruti is offering the Blitz buyers a complimentary accessory kit worth ₹49,848. The Blitz will be retailed through Maruti Arena dealers for a limited time, targeting increased sales of the lower-spec variants during the festive season.
1.2-Liter Three-Cylinder Engine in Maruti Swift Blitz
The Maruti Swift Blitz is powered by a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine that produces 82hp and 112Nm of torque in the petrol version and 70hp and 112Nm of torque in the CNG version. The petrol variant comes with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 5-speed AMT option is available across all variants except the base one.
Swift Blitz: Maruti’s 5th Special Edition for the Festive Season
The Swift Blitz marks Maruti’s fifth special edition for the festive season. The brand has launched several limited editions to boost sales during this period, including the Baleno Regal Edition, Grand Vitara Dominion Edition, Wagon R Voltz Edition, and Ignis Radiance Edition.
