Meanwhile, in the Sector 12 Cultural Forum’s Garba, the magnificent face of Goddess Durga was created using thousands of lamps. The attendees at both Garba grounds celebrated these breathtaking and divine moments, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Creation of the Divine Idol of ‘Adi Yogi’ in Kesariya Garba
In the Kesariya Garba, organized by the Sahay Foundation and inspired by Gandhinagar North MLA Ritaben Patel, a grand Maha Aarti with 51,000 lamps was held on the eighth day of Navratri, just like every year.
This spectacular event featured the creation of a divine idol of ‘Adi Yogi’ made from thousands of lamps. A large number of devotees attended, participating in the Maha Aarti of Mother Ambaji with immense faith and devotion.
Celebrating a Divine Moment in a Sea of Devotees
The enchanting Kesariya Garba Aarti was presented by the Golden Cheers Orchestra, creating a devotional atmosphere throughout the event. As the idol of ‘Adi Yogi’ made of lamps was displayed on the screen, it captivated the vast crowd gathered in the Kesariya Garba premises, elevating this incredible and divine moment.
Notable figures, including Jay Shah, Chairman of the International Cricket Council and Secretary of BCCI, Rajya Sabha MP Mayank Nayak, and Municipal Commissioner J.N. Vaghela, were also present during this auspicious occasion.
Creation of the Divine Face of Goddess Durga with Thousands of Lamps
In the Sector 12 Cultural Forum, renowned across Gujarat for its traditional and vibrant Garba, the magnificent face of Goddess Durga was created using thousands of lamps. This tradition, which began in 2006, has now spread throughout Gujarat.
Since 2011, the practice of forming idols from lamps during the Maha Aarti has been a cherished custom. On the eighth day of Navratri, the creation of Goddess Durga’s face from thousands of lamps generated an atmosphere of excitement and devotion among the attendees.
Maha Aarti on the Theme of “Swachh Bharat” at Thangnath Garba
On the eighth day of Navratri, a Maha Aarti with 21,000 lamps was performed in honor of Maa Jagdamba at the Thangnath Navratri Festival in Sector 6.
This event was organized under the theme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Swachh Bharat” mission, highlighting the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in the community.
