Hero Unveils Powerful Maverick 440 Thunder Wheels Edition with 35 Connectivity Features and Stylish Colors

Hero Unveils the Power-Packed Maverick 440 Thunderwheels Edition

Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the special Thunderwheels Edition of its most powerful bike, the Hero Maverick 440. While there have been no changes to the bike’s features or specifications, this edition comes with notable cosmetic updates that set it apart.

Collaboration with Thums Up for Special Edition

The Thunderwheels Edition was introduced as part of Hero’s collaboration with popular soft drink brand Thums Up. Customers have the chance to win the Hero Maverick Thunderwheels Edition by scanning the QR code on Thums Up bottles.

Maverick 440 Pricing and Competition

While Hero has yet to disclose the pricing for this special edition, the regular version of the Maverick 440 ranges between INR 1.99 lakh to INR 2.24 lakh. The bike will compete with models like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Harley Davidson X440, Jawa 350, and Honda CB350.

What’s New in the Thunderwheels Edition?

The Thunderwheels Edition of the Maverick 440 introduces a vibrant new look, featuring a dual-tone color scheme that combines shades of red and blue. This color combination mirrors the branding colors of Thums Up. The front fender is finished in blue, while the area near the front fork sports a bold red hue. Additionally, the headlight section now features a flyscreen, and the stock rear-view mirrors have been replaced with stylish bar-end mirrors.

Bold New Tank Design

The fuel tank of the Thunderwheels Edition is finished in dark blue with metallic grey and red accents, making it stand out. The upper half of the tank features a sleek grey finish, while the lower half is a striking red. The bike also boasts “Thunderwheels” graphics on the tank extension. To further enhance its premium appeal, the engine crankcase is finished in gold. These design updates distinguish the special edition from the regular model, which is predominantly black.

Unique Design Elements

The Hero Maverick 440 is built on the same platform as the Harley Davidson X440, but it stands out with its unique design and roadster styling. The bike sports a retro theme with a modern touch, including a round headlamp featuring twin “H” shaped DRLs.

Performance and Power

Under the hood, the Maverick 440 is powered by the same 440cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the Harley Davidson X440, generating 27HP and 36Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother shifts.

Cutting-Edge Features

The Maverick 440 comes packed with modern features, including LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and an LCD display. The negative LCD instrument console provides clear, detailed information such as speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, range, mileage, and side-stand alert. The bike also offers 35 connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, ETA, distance tracking, and phone battery indicators.
