British tech content creator Arun Rupesh Maini, known as MrWhoseTheBoss, has set a new Guinness World Record by creating the world’s largest smartphone replica. This oversized iPhone 15 Pro Max stands at a staggering 6.74 feet tall.
World’s Largest Smartphone Built with Ingenious Craftsmanship
The real name of the person behind the YouTube channel MrWhoseTheBoss is Arun Maini. He has set a world record for creating a replica of the largest smartphone by building a 2-meter tall iPhone.
This structure is a scaled-up version of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and is fully functional. Arun received help from Matthew Perks in constructing this prototype. To achieve this remarkable feat, he collaborated with DIYPerks.
Fully Functional 6-Foot iPhone: A Technological Marvel
It may surprise you to know that this 6-foot tall iPhone, larger than a person, has a fully operational display. You can easily scroll through the screen, send emails and messages just like on a regular iPhone.
Not only that, but the camera, flashlight, and charging port of this massive iPhone also work perfectly. Every application that runs on a standard iPhone can be operated on this oversized version as well.
Creating the Largest iPhone to Celebrate Surpassing Apple in Subscribers
Arun started his YouTube career in 2011, creating technical videos and reviewing new gadgets on his channel. With approximately 19.4 million subscribers, he celebrated surpassing Apple’s YouTube channel in subscriber count by building this enormous iPhone.
Arun spent 5.9 million rupees on creating this iPhone, and he shared the video of the project on his channel.

After setting the record, Arun said, “I used to spend hours in the library reading the Guinness World Records books. So, receiving this award feels completely surreal.”
He further added, “It feels like a full-circle moment. I am incredibly proud of my team and Matthew for coming together to achieve something that has never been done before.”
