Jain Monk Surya Sagar Maharaj Predicts BJP’s Downfall by Its Own Leaders, Calls Vadodara the Biggest Hub of Corruption in Gujarat

The city of Vadodara is witnessing significant public outrage due to the dire situation caused by a flood triggered by just 12 inches of rainfall. The flood, seen as a man-made disaster, has now drawn criticism from Jain monk Surya Sagar Maharaj, who is currently observing Chaturmas in Halol. A video of the monk has gone viral, in which he harshly criticizes BJP leaders and builders.

In the video, he directly names city chief Vijay Shah, claiming that people like him will lead to the downfall of the BJP. He also accuses Vadodara’s politicians of handing over 35 natural ponds, which used to channel rainwater, to builders for development. Additionally, he targets MLA Manisha Vakil, former Mayor Bharat Dangar, and Assembly Whip Balu Shukla for their role in the situation. The video has sparked widespread attention on social media.

Jain monk Surya Sagar Maharaj expressed doubts about the BJP’s future, specifically pointing out city chief Vijay Shah’s lack of significant contributions that would benefit the BJP, Hindus, or Vadodara itself.

He warned that such leaders would be responsible for the party’s downfall, adding, “I don’t believe the BJP will return to power at the center in 2029.” He also criticized the party by saying, “In the pursuit of a Congress-free India, the BJP itself has become filled with Congress-like elements.”

“Try Harassing Me, I Won’t Spare You” – Jain Monk Surya Sagar Maharaj

In his video, Jain monk Surya Sagar Maharaj voiced strong criticism, stating that Vadodara has never experienced flooding with just 10 to 12 inches of rain before, but this time it has, and he holds the Vadodara Municipal Corporation responsible.

He called out MLA Manisha Vakil, Bharat Dangar, and Balu Shukla, accusing them of being power-hungry and oppressing those who speak against them. He issued a stern warning, saying, “Try harassing me, I won’t spare you. One day, we all have to die. If you harm me, your bodies will rot with worms because you are obsessed with power, not with religion or the country.”

He further questioned why such people are not removed, despite the suffering caused under their watch. Highlighting the recent casualties, he said, “Around 10 to 12 people have died in Vadodara.

Two were bitten by snakes, a few others were stung by scorpions, which they couldn’t survive. A few were dragged away by crocodiles. Two people were electrocuted in a party plot. Who is responsible for this? The BJP will have to answer.”
