Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 Launch: Special Edition Electric Scooter with 137 km Range
Bajaj Auto has launched a special edition of its popular electric scooter, the Chetak Blue 3202, in the Indian market. The company claims that the electric scooter can travel up to 137 km on a full charge. It is priced at ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including EMPS-2024 scheme). Like other variants, the price of the package will be higher.
The new Chetak Blue 3202 is ₹8000 less expensive than the Urban variant and is equivalent in price to the Premium trim. The company has started booking it on its official website. You can book it by paying a token amount of ₹2000. It will compete with Ather Rizta, Ola S1 Pro, and TVS i-Cube. It is also available for purchase on the e-commerce platform Amazon.
Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202: Design and Color Options
The electric scooter’s 3202 edition is available in 4 color options: Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, Indigo Metallic, and Matte Course Grey. The company has not made any changes to the design of the electric scooter. Like before, it comes with a steel body.
It features a long seat, body-colored rearview mirrors, satin black grab rails, and headlamp casing, along with matching pillion footrest casting and charcoal black finish. The electric scooter comes with disc brakes, alloy wheels, LED DRLs with LED lighting, telescopic front suspension, and IP67 waterproofing.
Hill-Hold Control and Follow Me Home Light Features Available
Regarding features, the electric scooter includes app connectivity options, OTA updates, and a USB charging port. By choosing the Tacpack package, you get sport and crawl modes with hill-hold assistance and roll-over detection. Additionally, features like turn-by-turn navigation, music control, call alerts, and customizable themes with a colored TFT display, follow-me-home light reverse function, and eco-riding mode with a smart key are available as standard.
137 km Range on Full Charge and Top Speed of 73 kmph
The Chetak Blue 3202 Special Edition comes with a 3.2kWh battery pack like the Premium variant, but due to new technology cells in its battery, the range on a full charge has increased from 126 km to 137 km. It takes 5 hours and 30 minutes to charge. This is an increase from the current Premium model’s range of 127 km. The top speed of this electric scooter is 73 kmph.
