Look Out! An Insect Found in Vande Bharat Train: Passenger Shocked to Find Insect in Served Dal, Confronts TC, VIDEO
Videos of unusual objects found in food items, like insects in ice cream, worms in chips, and blades in flight meals, have been going viral on social media. Recently, a similar incident occurred on the Vande Bharat train, where a passenger discovered an insect in the dal served onboard.
Ricky Jeswani, the passenger who found the insect, confronted the Train Conductor (TC) and railway police over the issue. Other passengers also supported Ricky in his complaint. The incident took place on a journey from Shirdi to Mumbai.
Passengers had ordered dinner from the Vande Bharat train’s pantry, and they found that the curd was spoiled and there was an insect in the dal. Ricky Jeswani argued with the TC, stating that he opened four curds himself and found them all spoiled.
He also mentioned that the insect was in the dal he was eating, questioning whether his 80-year-old grandfather could digest such food. Ricky challenged the TC to eat the same food himself and asked for advice on what actions to take. The TC suggested that they could file a complaint. The video of this incident has since gone viral on social media.
Ricky Jeswani Files Complaint on Twitter, Shares Evidence
Following the incident, Ricky Jeswani took to Twitter to tag the Railway Minister and IRCTC, providing the written complaint number. Additionally, X (formerly Twitter) user Divyesh Wankhede shared photos and videos related to the event, which Jeswani also reposted. These images included the complaint filed with IRCTC and pictures of the contaminated dal.
IRCTC Responds: Service Provider Penalized
In response to the X post by Divyesh Wankhede, IRCTC stated that the service provider involved has been penalized. They apologized for the inconvenience caused and indicated that they have taken action by imposing a fine. It appears that IRCTC considers this penalty as a resolution to the issue.
