The world is grappling with the severe issue of global warming, and the solution lies in planting more trees to maintain environmental balance. People often celebrate religious, social, and national festivals, but it’s equally essential to conserve forests and trees to keep the Earth green and protect nature. In this context, under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the 75th Van Mahotsav was celebrated this year at the ancient and historically significant Harshiddhi Mata Temple in Gandhvi (Harshad) village of Kalyanpur Taluka in Devbhumi Dwarka, with special presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. During this event, the 23rd cultural forest, ‘Harshiddhi Van,’ was inaugurated. Let’s explore the aerial view of ‘Harshiddhi Van,’ the revered abode of Goddess Krishna and the Kuldevi (family deity) of King Vikramaditya.
