Young Woman Falls into 100-Foot Ravine While Taking Selfies, Find Out How Her Life Was Saved

In Maharashtra’s Satara district, a young woman fell into a 100-foot deep ravine while taking selfies. Local residents, upon learning about the incident, conducted a rescue operation and saved her life. 

A video of the entire incident is rapidly going viral on social media. In contrast, in Raigad district, a travel influencer with 280,000 followers met her death after falling into a 300-foot ravine while filming a reel. 

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Maharashtra’s Palghar, Pune, and Satara districts today (August 4). People have been advised to stay alert due to the severe weather conditions.

Young Woman Rescued After Falling into 100-Foot Ravine While Taking Selfies

In Maharashtra’s Satara district, a video is going viral on social media showing a young woman who fell into a 100-foot deep ravine while taking selfies. As soon as people became aware of the incident, a rescue operation was launched to save her. 

The video shows a person using a rope to pull the woman out of the ravine. After being rescued, she was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The dramatic rescue video has gained significant attention online.

Travel Influencer Dies After Falling into 300-Foot Ravine While Filming

As the craze for social media continues to grow, some individuals risk their lives in pursuit of selfies and reels. Recently, a tragic incident occurred in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, where travel influencer Aanvi Kamdar fell to her death while filming a reel. 

Aanvi was at the famous Kumbe Waterfall in Raigad, shooting content for Instagram. During the shoot, she lost her footing and fell into a 300-foot deep ravine. Aanvi was a Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession and had 280,000 followers on Instagram.

Red Alert for Heavy Rainfall in Palghar, Pune, and Satara Districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Maharashtra’s Palghar, Pune, and Satara districts on August 4. Additionally, an orange alert has been declared for Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Sindhudurg, and Nashik regions. 

The department has forecasted significant rainfall for these areas, urging residents to remain vigilant and prepared.
