This post has incited anger among Hindu organizations. Today (July 29), several Hindu organizations submitted a written representation to the university’s vice-chancellor, demanding legal action. In a telephonic conversation with Divya Bhaskar, the university registrar stated that a committee would be formed to investigate the matter and an appropriate decision would be made following a thorough inquiry.

This post was originally made by an account named Rajesh Kumar Yadav and was shared by Devendranath Patel. The controversial post has caused significant outrage among Hindu organizations.

Demand for Appropriate Action Regarding the Post

Today, a large number of youths associated with Hindu organizations gathered at the university to protest and submitted a written representation to the Vice-Chancellor of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. They demanded appropriate action against Devendranath Patel, who serves in the RTI cell, for his offensive post. They claimed that he insulted Hindu religion and beliefs.

Controversial Remarks: Narendra Chaudhary

Narendra Chaudhary, associated with a Hindu organization, stated that Devendranath Patel made derogatory and controversial remarks about girls observing the Shravan month fast and Lord Shiva. He said these comments insulted religion and beliefs, and they have therefore submitted a representation to the Vice-Chancellor demanding appropriate action against Devendranath Patel. He further mentioned that Patel has made such controversial remarks multiple times.

Formation of a Committee: University Registrar

In response to the entire issue, University Registrar Ramesh Gadhvi stated that a committee would be formed to thoroughly investigate the matter, and a decision would be made based on the findings.
