Maelstrom Bitcoin Grant Program Offers Grants Up to $250,000
The Maelstrom Bitcoin Grant Program has launched with funding opportunities ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 per year for developers on the Bitcoin blockchain. The program allows grant stacking, potentially providing up to $250,000 per developer. This initiative aims to attract top talent and drive significant advancements in Bitcoin technology.
According to the announcement, the program’s objective is to support technical development that enhances Bitcoin’s resilience, scalability, censorship resistance, and privacy features. Grants will be disbursed in Bitcoin, USD Coin, and Tether USDT, with applications open until August 25. Awards are expected in Q3 or Q4 of 2024, following an interview with a review committee member.
