Accident on National Highway Connecting Saputara to Shamghan
An accident occurred on the national highway connecting Saputara to Shamghan. A luxury bus carrying tourists fell into a gorge, causing many people to be trapped under the bus. Two innocent children from Surat lost their lives in the incident, and 22 injured individuals were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Among the injured, the condition of six is critical, with two referred to Ahwa Civil Hospital and four to Surat Civil Hospital. Following the incident, Deputy Chief Whip of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Vijaybhai Patel, visited the hospital.

65 People Were on the Bus
Bharat Chauhan, a tourist from Surat, stated that they were returning home when the bus driver attempted to overtake an Eicher vehicle. During this maneuver, the bus suddenly descended into the gorge. Eighteen people from their group were on the trip, and the bus had a total of 65 passengers.
Injured Transported to Hospital for Treatment
The accident was so severe that the bus completely overturned. However, the police and fire rescue team quickly arrived at the scene. Currently, rescue operations are underway to retrieve those trapped in the gorge. The injured have been transported to the hospital for treatment. The incident attracted large crowds of people to the site.
Bus Fell into Gorge After Hitting Roadside Wall
With the help of JCB and crane, efforts are ongoing to pull the luxury bus out of the gorge. It appears that the bus driver lost control, causing the bus to jump the roadside wall and fall straight into the gorge.
