Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Velocity Edition of its premium sub-compact SUV Fronx in India. The company has set a record by selling 100,000 units of the car within 10 months of its launch. To mark this milestone, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the special edition of the Fronx.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition is an accessorized version, priced starting at ₹7.29 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹23,000 less than the standard variant. This edition has been launched to celebrate the achievement of 100,000 sales within 10 months of the car’s launch.
The special edition is available for a limited time across all 14 variants of the car, which include options for a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. In India, this vehicle competes with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV300.
