Suddenly, she fell. She suffered injuries to her forehead due to the fall. The staff present at the location took her inside the house. Doctors have stated that she has a deep injury on her head. She will need medical attention.”
The cause of the accident is unclear, with two claims being made. First, sources say that Mamata Banerjee fell from a treadmill at her residence. Second, she was returning home from Digha when her car met with an accident on Rajbanshi Road.
Mamata Banerjee, admitted to the hospital, has been insisting on returning home repeatedly. Her own physician is present at the hospital. It is possible that Mamata Banerjee is still unwell at home. So far, no authoritative information has come out.
According to available information, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had participated in a public event in Purba Medinipur district. She was supposed to return by helicopter. However, due to bad weather conditions, she chose to travel by road instead.
