Serious Accident on SG Highway: Truck Tire Hits Two Bikers Near Kargil Petrol Pump, One Dead, One Injured

Another serious accident has occurred on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad. Two people were thrown off a bike while going on the highway. The incident resulted in the death of one youth at the scene, while the other was rushed to the Civil Hospital with serious injuries. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV, which clearly shows the reckless driving behavior. The traffic police have taken note of the incident and have detained the truck driver.

The truck’s tire hit a person from behind

Around 2:50 PM near the Kargil petrol pump on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad, an accident occurred involving a Rajasthan-passing bike with two individuals on it. In the midst of this, a mixer truck coming from behind collided with them. The truck’s front tire hit the rider of the bike. Dinesh Ratan, the bike rider from Dungarpur, who resides in Chanakyapuri, Ahmedabad, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the pillion rider Dilipat Andani suffered serious injuries.

Another person injured in the accident has been rushed to the hospital. After the serious accident, chaos ensued among the people nearby. Subsequently, the police and emergency services were informed. The injured person has been taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased youth, who met with a tragic end, was taken to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. The police have reached the scene of the incident and are taking action against the truck driver. It is noteworthy that accidents have been increasing due to heavy vehicles for quite some time, and today, it has cost the life of an innocent victim.
