Vishnudeo Sai, a representative from the Kunakuri constituency, is a prominent tribal leader in Chhattisgarh. He has previously served as the state president of the BJP in Chhattisgarh. During the announcement of his selection, it was mentioned that he could also be considered for the position of Deputy Chief Minister in the state.

After becoming the Chief Minister, Vishnudeo Sai has said that today, in the meeting of the Chhattisgarh legislative party, he has been unanimously chosen as the leader. He expressed his gratitude to the BJP and stated that he is very happy to be chosen as the leader with complete unanimity. He assured that he will work with complete honesty and fulfill Modi’s guarantee by completing the work of 18 lakh houses before anything else.

BJP spokesperson Om Mathur said that an experienced worker, who has been a minister in the Atal Ji’s tenure, has been chosen as the Chief Minister unanimously in the meeting of the Chhattisgarh legislative party. He mentioned that it’s a good thing that an experienced leader has been chosen and expressed hope for better governance.
Rajapur South MLA Bridge Mohan Agrawal stated that under the leadership of the central BJP, he has been given the responsibility of Chief Minister to show respect to the Scheduled Tribes. It is expected that the Deputy Chief Minister will be from the central leadership.
Dharasabha member Kedar Kashyap said that an experienced leader and MP has taken responsibility as Chief Minister. Now, they will fulfill their responsibility as Chief Minister.
The BJP meeting was divided into three groups.
In the first group, the three observers, Arjun Munda, Sarbananda Sonowal, and Dushyant Kumar Gautam, held discussions with state in-charge Om Mathur, Nitin Nabin, and Ajay Jamwal.
Following this, the three observers had a meeting with the organization’s general secretary Pawan Sai and Ramon Singh to know their opinions.
The third group held a meeting of the legislative party. In this meeting, the name of Vishnudev Sai was proposed, and he was unanimously chosen as the leader of the legislative party.
